Girsan ... model 92 clone

I took a close look at one today, wow nice, and for $550, I don t think I would pay the extra for a real 92 but I never fired the girsan...but it looked well finished. The only thing I did not care for was the DA/SA trigger design, just felt like I was going back to the days when I shot a s and w 3rd gen pistol, that long trigger for the first shot....

fair enough, they seemed solid, but I might have to buy one, I have not seen any around the range here...to try... a dealer here has some, I mean a gun dealer lol... for the compact blue 520$

Ive tried both and now own an M9 and to be honest the real thing is much smoother, if you are on a stict budget then go for the Girsan but the Beretta will always holds it value more i think.

I have the Girsan 9mm, Beretta clone. It's a nice shooting pistol, no major complaints. The trigger is not bad, but I'm not that good a shot anyway, this gun makes me look a lot better. For the price you can't really go wrong and Girsan I understand bought the tooling from Beretta so that speaks for itself.

Think I am going to pick one up, just have to decide which one, the compact felt nice and is cheaper. I think the fullsize and compact use the same mag? Can anyone confirm this?

I like Girsan 92 clones. They are solid guns after some minor tweaking.... read my review in the link below.

Girsan is a great gun. The 92 clone has all metal parts for the trigger and guide rod, unlike the original. The compact uses the same magazine as the full size. The barrel length is different. Get the D-spring mod from Wolff springs.

I have the 5" white (SS) model. It shoots very well, but spends most of its time in the safe waiting for IDPA matches. I just have too many other guns I use! With the SS version, there are no rub marks that you usually get with concealment or regular type holsters. I am not trying to up-sell you, but it is a consideration. As well, you will get lots of people ogling your new shiny toy

Ive tried these out and they are great guns. The awesome thing is that if you arent happy with your trigger pull you can just order some new spring and that alone will make an improvement on the gun.
