I looked at/handled one at my range. regular beretta mags did fit. Can't say if it causes any feeding issues as I didn't shoot it, but it shouldn't.

This may be my next pistol. I particularly like the compact version, which doesn't seem to be available for the beretta.

Build looks solid, finish looks crisp.

I "think" the girsan yavuz 16 is now being called the Regard MC, and the girsan yavuz 16 Compact the "Compact MC".

I've been looking for reviews on these, found a few in print or forum posts but sadly the only in depth one on youtube isn't in english.
 
i was trying to figure out the difference in the compact mc and the compact mkek

downloaded the catalog pdf didint have the one model in it looks like a grip difference.

they make quit a few guns.

I picked up the full size about a month ago. Reasonably accurate and very solid and crisp. I like this pistol very much. For the price it is a no-brainer.
No feeding issues at all with the Beretta mags.
 
I also have one of the compact models. Definitely nice gun. Works well with MecGar mags for Beretta as well.
Only problem I have is that it seems to shoot very low. I'm getting better with it but I had someone else (more experienced) test my gun and his shots weren't even on the target. This was all with light, cheap ammo. I'll be trying some heavier rounds shortly.
 
I just bought the Regard MC Bright White‏ , there are two kinds compact and the Regard I have a video that will explane the models and where the guns are manufactured, on Friday when I held the Regard in my hand I felt quality and feeling the Beretta and this gun I pick the Regard all hands down , I have held the Beretta inox and I did not mind it I thought it was really cool until I Held the Girsan Regard whole different ball game that Girsan feels a lot more ritcher I think Beretta copyed Girsan , ohhh hear is that video I wanted to show you guys enjoy .
