Walked in the store today to get a 9MM saw it and had to have it especially in this colour as well as fact few hundred cheaper than a Beretta 92, Awaiting call from Store to pick up tomorrow.

Picked mine in matte black tonight. Shoots nice, tight groups. Double action is a long pull but single action is nice. The tolerances are tight, slide has no wobble and very little if any lateral movement. I put 50 rounds of Winchester white box. Flawless function. It fills the hand nicely. You'll love it. Trigger needs to be broken in, but I'm very pleased with mine!

glad to help. Let us know how you find shooting yours. In chrome, it really looks awesome! I still can't believe that this pistol is 100$ more than a Norinco. There really is no comparison IMO. Though with the Norinco clones, most are compatible with their original counterparts so you can swap out parts. With the Girsan, I understand that Beretta 92 mags will work, the springs will also swap out. Good luck!

Can I ask what store? I was in GP about a month ago and the guy looked at me like I had 2 heads when I mentioned I was looking for the Girsan 16 (store beside the Northside Safeway).

Anyways, I just got mine delivered from Epps. Haven't taken it to the range yet, but I am quite excited.

I'm assuming the OP, as I'm in Onterrible. I picked mine up at Al Flaherty's $508 OTD. Good service there. They ship a lot out of province as well. If you see something you like, call them up and order it. On restricted though, the CFO here is hit or miss. I was very fortunate that I bought it on Saturday... picked it up last night.

You know the drill, post up your impression of the pistol and let us know how you find it.

Will it use Fs 92 mags?

I use Mec Gar 92FS mags in mine and they are fine. Bought 2 from Northern Republic Magazine a few weeks back.

I want to like this pistol more than I do. I guess I'm just used to single actions and have to work on my technique. It functions very well otherwise, and is hands and fists above Norc for fit n finish.

I found that reloads made with 3.6 grains of clays powder with 124-125 grain bullets made for neglible muzzle flip with a Beretta 92 pistol. You may like your pistol more when you start shooting it like a movie gun, having the slide just move back and forth with no movement of the POA during recoil is pretty neat.

Nice, I guess I will have to pick up some 9mm dies. I have rifle dies, I just don't have a turret or progressive press. Only a single stage atm.

I shot a friend's last weekend. Sweet. Excellent fit & finish. I also found the DA a bit long. It's a beautiful piece. You're going to love it. Congrats!
