give up prohibited status or not?

Here is a question i have been pondering. If you had a 12/5 prohibited status and since we can not shoot our rifles any more would you sell all yours and lose the status. Doesnt make sense to me to keep a bunch of firearms that you cant enjoy but at the same time it doesnt make sense to bow down to what i believe is what the goverment wants,namely getting rid of firearms. Any thoughts or comments??
 
keeping them costs you nothing- we won't have the libs forever- a more "enlightened" conservative gornment may change the whole c68 thing anyway- it's already been critisized as being too compicated- there's a different 12 for almost everything out there- the next catagory will probably be a 12(13) gaseous discharge- they only need 3- or 2 if you prefer- full auto, long guns and shotguns and handguns- that's the way it was before c-68- nothing wrong with that- or just hand guns and long guns-
 
You will be lucky to get 50 cent on the dollar these days by selling your 12/5. Hardly anyone can buy them. So instead of taking a big loss, may as well just hang on to them & see what'll happen.

depends what it is im actually expanding my collection

if you must sell keep the least valuable 12.5 gun or even buy a POS 12.5 to keep status

Dont sell out.

You will have a hard time getting the guns true values (would you buy a car you KNOW you cant drive?)

I hate to sound like a broken record but TAKE IT TO COURT. It aint hard and there are lots of people and info here to help you do it.
 
you could also buy a reciver for let say a fal or an ak and just keep that its a cheap proposition and let you keep the 12(5). i must say i understand you, dewat and safe queen are a waste to me, i love shooting guns :twisted:
 
Of course, you could sell them to me for ten cents on the dollar, and when the rest of us overturn this crap, I win!
Seriously, if you give in to these wankers, you only encourage more of the same.

HAVE YOU APPLIED FOR, AND BEEN REFUSED, YOUR S.A.P. TO TRANSPORT TO A RANGE YET?

They don't need any. All the classes are unnecessary.
 
which brings me to a point- i've got 12(3)- can i get 12(4) and (5) with 3 or do i have to have 4 and 5 seperately?- might want to get an fn someday
