I'd suggest CRKT! They have a few great options. If you like a fixed blade pocket friendly blade, their minimalist line is great. Multiple styles, some of them are very utilitarian and some are more fun.

If you prefer folders there's a few I'd suggest looking at:

CRKT LCK + for assisted opening
CRKT Drifter for manual opening, subtle
CRKT M21-10KSF for manual opening, tactical

We could special order any/multiple of these for you within that sub-$60 CAD price range each. PM me if you are interested and we can get you stocked up for the next year! :)

Spyderco is always good stuff. Cold steel makes great stuff at every price range.

There are great mid end stuff at amazing price in the good Chinese brands like Civivi, CJRB, Vosteed, Kizer as well as Ruike and the like. You really get a lot for the money with those.

EDIT : OKC is also amazing, both for the fixed blades offerings as well as the classics Rat1 and 2, and the newer 1.5!
