The rear lug is threaded. If you want to do it yourself I suggest getting Art Luppino's dvd on glass bedding from Brownells and do it yourself. Fantastic dvd.
Devcon steel putty epoxy can be purchased from Acklands for bedding and new McMillan stocks come already machined perfectly for bedding.
As Oldsmobiler said, if your going to send it out make sure they've done lots of them before. There are a few guys around who can do it depnding on where you live.
Do not send it to a non-M14 gunsmith.
If you live near Hungry, central Canada, or M14 Doc, western Canada, maybe one of them can help you out.
Well I guess I didn't get it at Brownells. On the back of the case it says ww w.gunvideo.com so that's where I got it. Excellant dvd

M14Doctor has done nurmerous work on M25 platforms and I can easly say that he has bedded more M14 style rifles than I can count. He has his own fourms on here but I would just email him @Hello,
I have an LRB Arms M25 rear lugged M1a rifle. I want to have it glass bedded into a McMillan stock. Does anyone know who can do it?
Thank you![]()
M14 Doc built my M25 and did an amazing job.![]()
Is this the M14 doctor?

I need to see some work that the M14 Doctor has done, some kind of credentials to verify before I send my M25 anywhere. Does he have a phone number or website? Someway of talking to him not through email?
