Hello;

I'm thinking about glass bedding my Remington SPS Tactical with the Hoge stock in 223. I've never done one before, I can buy the kit at my local gun shop.

What should I expect, is it difficult to do or not? Will it make a difference?
Does anybody have any idea roughly how much my point of impact will change from what I have now?

Any other information will help!

Thanks.

Kevin.

if you buy the brownell acuglass kit and follow instructions it won't be hard to do. how much difference will it make. it depends how good the bedding is now. all the ones i have done have improved, some a lot some a little. as for point of impact you will have to fire it to find out. you will most likley have to adjust your scope a little.

acuglass sticks to synthetic stocks if you dremel a undercut in the recoil lug cutout and put some tiny 1/32nd holes in the bedding area for the acuglass to grip. done lots and the bedding has never come loose.

There are no guarantees.
If you have a 3/8 minute rifle, cherish it, don't mess with it, don't even shoot it too much. Do you know how rare it is for an out of the box factory production rifle to shoot that well?
