hey i just noticed the barrel on my little 22 semi wobles a hair in the reciever
*just enough to see a bit of a gap * is there a way to fix this shy of replacing the barrel? i put a bit of electrical tape on the stock where the barrel rests to stop it from wobbling a bit by applying upward pressure. but i am certain this isnt going to do it any good LOL

The barrel is pinned in place. The receiver is alloy of course. If the barrel is loose in the receiver, I would be inclined to clean the areas and use a thread sealant, epoxy, or cyanoacrylic adhesive in addition to the pin. This would make it a bit harder to remove the barrel though. Another option would be to have longitudinal splines knurled into the barrel shank to increase its diameter slightly.
