Yes. Basically Genfield took over production from Ruger.

Ruger decided to move these under the Glenfield name, which as mentioned above was part of the package when Ruger bought Marlin a few years ago. This allows them to drop the whole gen1/gen2 thing with the American while still having a gun (this one) in that ~$600 price range.

Would the trigger/safety assembly be interchangeable on a Glenfield with that of a Ruger predator gen 1? My safety tang broke off and I need a replacement unit for my Gen1 predator. A timney trigger would do the job, but the cost of that is roughly 40% of the cost of a new gun.
