C'mon, tell us ordinary people what you've got there!!
It's a mould for Keith style semi-wadcutter bullets for the .41 Magnum. It is a Cramer-style hollow point mould made by a fellow in Slovenia who has quit his day job as a CNC programmer to make bullet moulds for the folks who participate in group buys on the "castboolits" website. Four-cavity, solid brass, the plugs at the bullet tip can be changed to give flat points, round hollow points or pentagonal hollow points.

I would hazard a guess in saying Mihec molds are second to none on the planet right now. He asked a simple question in 2007 on the cast boolits site wondering if we would be interested in a single cavity hollow point 45 acp bullet. I was one of the first 10 people to try his molds out and it was fabulous, exactly as specified and a dream to use.
At the time Lee was making custom molds and it would take them 1-2 years to complete a special order and usually it was wrong and had to be redone. He jumped on the scene and filled a gap, request a mold and 6-8 weeks later it was in the mailbox to exact specs and works like a dream. He quit his job and opened up his own shop with a CNC machine and has never looked back.
The crammer hollow point design is really quick for producing high volume pistol bullets. Pour the lead, turn the mold over after cutting the sprue and all you do is push or tap with the wooden mallet on the pins sticking out of the mold and the bullets drop right off and onto the towel,etc. No more taking the pin out, turn it over and start the beating ritual to get the single bullet out. Run them a bit hotter than normal and these molds are quicker than lyman 4 cavity molds because they drop the bullet with ease. If you don't want the hollow cavity then you just simply take the pins out and turn them over and now you have a solid bullet as normal.
I have had 4 designs that I have worked with him and he is an absolute pleasure to work with. I have 22 of his molds in my inventory and honestly they are the ones that I use 95% of the time. The other 90 molds that I have for various firearms just sit and I think I am going to start to liquidate all my pistol molds that have been gathering dust these last 5 years.
Using one of his molds is like using a Dillon 550 compared to an old warn out Lee 1000, it is night and day the difference in ease of use.

I'm glad to hear you say that, as I ordered a catalogued style of mould from Accurate about a week before I ordered this one from MP, and wasn't sure which to expect first. The Accurate one should be here any day now.
$130 for the mould with one set of pins.
$16 for each extra set of pins. In the photo I showed 3 sets (round, penta and blank)

Mi-hec brass 4 cavity molds with HP pins are the best molds ever made, even better than H&G's. Ever seen a H&G HP mold?
This is the Renaissance for Boolit casters, Mihec, NOE, Accurate, Mountain Molds are all very good makes but Mihec are the best.
Unfortunately Mihec and NOE have long waiting lists, Accurate and Mountain do not.

I am not a caster, but $205 for that doesn't sound bad at all to me. Post some pics of the test bullets if you can, I am interested to see how they turn out.

I just got my 454460 4C HP Mihec last week. Beautiful!
Have the Mihec 4C 455 and 457 HB Webley, and 38/357 4C HP, and 45acp HP 4C moulds on order, too.
The only problem with Mihec moulds is that the waiting list is about ten months.

Wow! That sounds very reasonable to me. I have piles of lead wheel weights and at least 1-30 pound ingot from when I use to work at walmart in the auto shop. I may just have to invest in something like this. Thanks for sharing the info.

Here are some early results. There is a little bit of flash around the noses where the lead seeps around the pins a little.
Solid nose bullets averaged 227 grains, round hollow points 217 and pentagonal HP 219.

The American manufacturers stated that it was impossible to produce molds in less than a year, and along came MiHec. Now some of them (NOE - also a great mold maker) are down to several months, and some prices are more competitive as well. There are those who will say that their Brand X mold made lovingly by master mold maker Jeb is the most expensive and slowest to be delivered, and is therefore the best, but MiHec sets the standard.
Another thing I like about MiHec is that shipping costs to Canada is the same as to the US, and we get our molds more quickly than they get theirs.
