Glock 17. .22 conversion kit.

I know this is on here somewhere but I can't seem to find it on search on my phone.

I will be getting a glock 17 this summer and would like to get a .22 conversion kit to make the range days fun with the wife. (She doesn't like the 9mm other than her Jericho. ). But she likes the .22. So other then having to buy a .22 handgun. Has anyone here had good luck ( or bad luck ) with the .22 kits.

Fairly reliable and accurate, expensive, but too lite, IMO.

Had no issues with my AA kit, cycles bulk Federal with ease, but does feel more like big bore with hotter ammo. Like any rimfire, keep it clean for a more trouble free experience.

+1 for the AA kit, everything I feed it goes bang,
Only thing it doesn't cycle is 22 birdshot,
I wasnt really expecting it to tho lol

Well, thanks for the repleys, I now just have to figure out the difference between the glock 17 gen 3 and gen 4. As far as I can tell it just seems to be the grip and the mag release and changeable on the gen 4. so many choices.

Keep in mind that the conversion kits are Gen 3 or 4 specific, they are not interchangeable..

Ahhhhh. Good advice then. I will have to Make a decision and then get the kit.

I bought a 22 conversion kit for my Glock17 about 8 years ago from JAC http://www.22lrconversions.com/ It jams easy with cheap ammo, works decent with high velocity ammo.

I know I know.. You said other than buying another gun.. Look up the Browning Buckmark, great 22 pistol and not much more expensive than the conversion kit.
