Hi all,
I am reaching a bit of a tipping point with the glock OEM 9mm threaded barrel.. For the life of me I cannot find a steel thread protector..
From trial and error i found that 9mm gen3 come with thread pitch 13.5 x 1mm LH (left hand).. Unlike absolutely every other after market threaded barrel. Reason? the only explanation I saw talked about 13.1LH having a tendency to tighten when fired (given that rifling is right hand twist).
The problem I am facing now is that there are no aftermarket (ie non plastic) thread protectors of this thread pitch.. at thit point I'm inclined to just change the barrel to a non threaded and be done with it..
any suggestions are welcome
