Glock 17 C <pics! Range report up!>

I have had several Glock 9 MM pistols, ranging from a 26 with a comped 5" barrel, a few regular 17s, and a 17C with the HARTS mercury filled guide rod, and my current 19 with SS 4 1/2" barrel [ may drill a few ports someday ].

The 17C DOES feel significantly lighter on muzzle flip than the regular 17.
As for why antone would comp a 9 MM, after 10 years of IPSC MAJOR loads, and after my FIFTH wrist operation [ I plead guilty to playing with .45 SUPER and .44 MANGLUM loads, back when bowling pin shoots were the vogue ] and after the Arthriris in my hands, I appreciate all help I can get.
They used to call me "DIRTY LARRY", cause I shot IPSC revolver with a .44 Redhawk and FULL POWER .44 MAG loads.
Nowadays ...just call me Limp Wrist Larry.

Well, it's a Glock...
The grips look like they're might uncomfortable, but would provide really quick traction if you were pulling it out of a holster or nightstand.

I would gladly take either. It would just have to boil down to personal preference, as they are both outstanding. Without the porting, a glock 17 w/ night sights and sp-01 (night sights standard) are similarly priced. I prefer the SP-01 tactical (decocker only) model to the standard SP-01(manual safety) by the way.
