Hi i bought a Glock 17 Gen 4 in 9mm jams first & second round feeding i push clip release the round goes into chamber slam it back in, I,m guessing mag problem. I bought it second hand the last owner says it was fine for him plus he said he only put 300 rounds through it anyway i put 100 through it and always wanted a Glock but ready to trade it soon maybe Beretta will treat me better.

Just make sure to charge the buyer more because you know that when you push clip release and it jams your pistol is worth more than a good one any day of the week and twice on Sunday so yes, please include this special, added value in your pricing or just trade it for Beretta with no hammer and sights (sounds like a fair deal). Wow! That was a long sentence.

The mag is your problem and i suspect it is either incorrectly pinned or has one mother of a spring in it. If you push on the back of the slide, will it go into battery? (chamber the round)

I'd find a new magazine and try that, if that's not it, clean and lube, and maybe a new recoil spring. I can't see it being much more then that. And i doubt it's the recoil spring. As suggested, try another brand of ammo as well.

What kind of ammo are you using? I tried the cheap CCI Blazer and had similar problems. It was recommended to me to use 9mm TMJ and I have not had an issue since. Best of luck!

was it the aluminum case blazer that gave you problems? because i've shot nearly 1000 rounds of the blazer brass without issue.

I,m using WinClean winchester 115gr clip is super stiff spring on top new mags on way i,m pretty remote so i,m going when rcmp go so i can try different ammo.

Borrow a G17 original mag from a friend and try that ..

You should have more than one BTW I would suggest at least a couple maybe even four..

Your broken English (I'm not making fun of you) makes it hard to diagnose the problem. What do you mean when you say pressing the magazine release allows a round to be chambered?

I thought Glocks are the never fail guns.

They are for some people. I have owned 20 at least, both gen 3 and 4 and never have an issue. I always buy new just the same, with new mags. Most times when glocks fk up its cause somebody tried to "improve" them by adding crap it didnt need.
