Glock 17 Gen 4 backstraps fit Glock 40 gen 4 frame?

A question for Glock owners who know more than me about Glocks. I have one Glock, a G40 gen 4 10mm that a bought used, gun is excellent shape but owner couldn't find the original extra backstraps that came with it. Since that is the only thing missing from the set looking to buy a set to complete what came from the factory, sorry I KNOW its the damn OCD!!! So do Glock 17 gen 4 or any of the large frame gen 4 frame backstraps fit the G40

Most likely not, those two frame sizes are different, that said I may be wrong and the backstraps may be interchangeable.

Thanks, I checked Glock site G17 is 32mm and G40 is 34 mm in width. I would like to put the strap with beavertail on the gun. I will email Glock and find out.

Ok got my answer, they are different sizes. G20, G21 and G40 G41 have the same straps. G17 don't fit.
