I took my Glock 17 Gen 4 to the range for the first time last night and put about 150 rounds through it.
I shot about 20 rounds with no issues, my brother then shot another 20 rounds with no problem. My girlfriend then shot 10 rounds and had about 4 FTFs. I checked the mag each time and made sure it was all the way in.
I tried to limp wrist while shooting, but couldn't re-create the issue myself, and then put quite a few more rounds through it with no problems. I assume the problem was just limp wristing, but I didn't think it would be such a problem on a new Glock. I am going to put some oil on the slide rails when I clean it tonight, and take it back to the range by myself tomorrow and see how it goes.
Just wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences or suggestions.
