Glock 17 gen 4 in FDE.

I got this response from Questar about it:

Glock dropped colour back in 2012 so current (new) guns are not available
with the coloured frames. We have seen limited runs Glock did for a select
dealer but these were not available to the full dealer network.

Well I guess that explain everything. Thank you for the info. Might give up on that one... lol

Glock did a special run for a "select" dealer...
There is high demand for these. So whats the scoop here. Why not another run of these.
Wasn't the "select" dealer Dlask?

Glock will make colours available to distributors with a minimum order. They haven't received a large enough order for coloured frames for a year or so. I believe the Dlask guns came from an order made by and sold by a US distributor. Possibly RSR.

That looks very nice! I saw one CGN'r armacoated Norc 1911 on EE and it did not look good at all far from it. It looked like a bad paint job and wet looking. Maybe works better on polymer?

How much did that cost you and how did you put it on? Do you mind posting few more pictures?

If one day I get a used Glock I would definitely consider doing this.

Armacoated gen4 glock 17 19,000 rounds since coating with no wear. Not even holster wear. Pics make it look a tad green but its a perfect match with magpul FDE
