Glock 17 gen 4 or glock 17 rtf whats the difference? Pros and cons?

Still on the market for my first glock, I have handled both versions stated in the heading, is the only difference between these is the "rough textured finish" and the grooves on the slide? let me know!................what are some of your guys and girls experiences with these?

on the gen 4 RTF the slide is different then the one i handled the finger grooves where you pull the slide back had a "CCCCC" style patten kinda like a "crescent moon" style grip? the gen 4 on the video didnt whats up with that??? is it another option? here a pic of it:

That was on the gen 3 rtf not the gen 4.

I personally dont like the rtf. It made my soft dainty hands hurt after about 20 rounds. Oh and those CCCC slide serrations are kinda ......

awesome thanks for the info and letting me know that the gen 3 rtf had those slide "cccc" groves

so you can but the gen 4 with the "RTF" and without the "RTF"????????

The gen4 doesn't come in a RTF version. I personally love the RTF. It really helps it stick to your hands. Really good for IPSC and other competition sports. I just did my black badge course with mine and was shooting it all day long and it didn't hurt my hand.
