Hi everyone --

I'm trying to track down a gen 4 glock 17 with night sights. I've checked all the sponsors without luck (Blueline & Wolvering are both out of stock). Does anyone else have any recommendations on where I may look?

Thanks,

Can anyone tell me what the disadvantage of replacing the standard sights with night sights is? Just cost or?

I'm just getting into pistol shooting and I really don't like the stock sights on the glock.

I can't stand my Glock stock sights either. Shooting white sites on a white piece of paper just doesn't work for me. The night sites are white still, but glow in the dark. If you've seen anything different then that I'd love to see them please. I'm personally going to fibre optics like Tru Glo.

Replacing the stock sights on a Glock is a good idea, the stock ones are not good and not sturdy. The current "hot setup" is a bright (tritium or tritium fibre optic) front sight and a plain black rear. Various sights are available from Brownells.

I have a G17 with standard sights and a G22 with TNS. I much prefered the TNS until I tried a CZ Shadow with Fibre optic. I replaced the front sight on the G17 with a Hi-Viz red fibre optic and it is much better now. They are in stock at Wolverine
