Glock 17 Gen 5 MOS holster suggestions?

Hello, I'm new to the forum so please forgive me if I've posted this in the wrong subforum. I'm looking for a holster for a Glock 17 Gen 5 MOS with a Vortex Venom optic. I'd love a Safariland ALS holster, as I've heard good things about the ease of operation, but from what I've seen, these are the only models that might fit:

The issue I have with the first holster is that is has the hood and backstrap, which I don't want to use in addition to the ALS. The backstrap could probably be removed by the looks of it, but it doesn't appear the hood could be.

The issue I have with the second is that according to Safariland's website, it isn't compatible with the setup I have. I don't mind modifying the holster with a dremel if necessary to allow it to accommodate the Venom, but I don't want to destroy the ALS locking in the process.

If I can't solve either of these issues, I'm open to suggestions for a friction fit holster that would allow me to use my Venom. ALS is my preference, but I'd rather not shell out a bunch of money only to find that I can't make it work.

Solely gets my vote as well - I have had excellent service from him.

I've heard that Gray Fox Strategic is good, and their holster designs look very clean.

I tried to buy from Highlander, and I would avoid them, personally. If you see one on the shelf somewhere, maybe - if you have to order, hard no.

Thanks for all the tips everyone, I've been checking out Solely and Gray Fox. At the moment I'm leaning toward Gray Fox because I like the look of their Phoenix holster. If/When I decide to buy I'll do a rundown of my initial thoughts + impressions after some use.
