Glock 17 Gen 5 slide and frame bevel

I want to pick one up by the slide bevel not matching the frame is going to make my OCD even worse. I'm not even sure if the Gen 5 has been released in Canada yet but I've read that glock has fixed this issue on the newer production models. Can anyone confirm this?

The ones I saw at the TACCOM show today did not have matching frame to slide bevels. I must say, I do like the grip without the finger grooves. Might be in the market for a Gen5 later on..
 
To be honest I had read about bevel not matching but forgot about it.
Didn't even notice till I read this.

Don't want to say how good Gen 5 is until I sell some of my Gen 4s.

Since you are in Newmarket pop in Rangeview every once in a while and you can see if they have the "fixed" model. I bought my 17 Gen 5 Austria there but it has the "issue" you described. They are the closest store that you can easily check it out at.

I would get that OCD treated, can't be healthy to live like that, looks just fine to me...

My OCD prevents glock regret. I never said it doesn't look fine but If someone has the revised Gen 5 and the original Gen 5 in front of them and they say they'd choose the original Gen 5 over the matching slide and frame they're full of #hit.

I understand people defending their purchase but man a simple question has turned into a Sarcastic butt hurt justification thread lol

And i have not seen any butthurt or justification in this thread
I guess my lack of OCD makes me unaware of certain conflicts

Could you please tell me more about the slide finish ? is it kind of a Cerakote ? it will see lots of holster use (IPSC).
I'm planning to add Dawson FO front and fixed rear and a Glockmeister plug...any thoughts ?

If you're worried about holster wear, have a look at a competition style speed holster. :)
