Glock 17 Gen4

I liked my first one so much...

I got another one.

Couldn't be happier with them both. I have 3500+ rounds through my first one, and put a couple hundred through the new one this week.

I need to get a (-) connector for it, and some proper sights. I might try the Ameriglo Hack sights this time, just for a little extra visibility for the front sight.
It's either those, or Warren Tactical. I've been wanting to try the Warrens for a while

I like my Gen4 G17 also. Mine came with the 02 spring, so I guess the newer ones aren't having some of the problem that some people were complaining about.

Both mine have the original unnumbered spring. Never had any issues with it at all, so I won't be switching.

People like to hate the "new" thing...epsically if they get a chance to bash a Glock. To the OP...what gr. weight of 9mm do you shoot?

i wouldnt mind having one myself. for now my gen2 G22 keep me busy i think its a better gun than gen3 whats the point of the stupid finger grouves?

If the finger grooves fit your hand, then it's not an issue. They're a love/hate thing.

They fit me, so I prefer the newer guns with them.

the spring issue can be fixed by for about 25 dollars at glockparts. For that you get a gen 3 spring adapter washer and a stainless steel guide rod loaded with a stock spring

Nope. I like how the gun feels without any backstrap, and I can also reach the mag release easier which benefits pistol manipulations, for me anyway.

Okay thanks. IF the Gen. 4 Glock spring is having issues everyone seems to say its only with 115gr. ammo as its "too light".

I've been shooting 115gr through my Gen4 without issue.

About 600 rounds so far, not a single problem.

I believe only very few of gen 4 has problem, but when it comes to internet and Simon said the bloody gen 4 jam on me... Yes Glock are cool gun, don't buy one! buy two of them!

I've put about 600+ rounds of Winchester 115gr through my gen 4 with no issue.

My brand new Glock 23 Gen 4. It may be the first restricted one in Canada. Gotta go pop its cherry this week and put her up against my G22 Gen 3. I really don't like the ergo's on my G22, compared to my 226 Elite Dark but this little beauty feels like it was custom fit for my hand. Of course I don't use the back straps.

Thanks. I've never shot a G23 before, so I'm hoping its not too snappy, although the Gen4 recoil spring is supposed to fix that up a bit. I had a G19, and it was beauty, so I'd thought I'd give the 23 a whirl. We'll see how it goes. Hopefully she won't be on the EE any time soon.
