Hello,

I'm looking into the shooting sports such as IPSC, IDPA and possibly some tactical related pistols courses.

What holster, belt and mag pouches do you guys recommend? And from what websites?

I'm also looking to add a X300 light to my pistol later down the road.

The gun is a Gen 3 Glock 17.

Thank you!

Blade Tech are good products at a very good price point, but for just a little more money, Solely Canadian make outstanding holsters and mag pouches.

I have a top of the product line bladetech kydex holster for a Glock 17 (Right Hand) for sale in the EE, click on my profile and select latest started threads. This is, in my opinion, the very best IDPA legal holster for a glock, is also legal and still competitive for IPSC, so best of both worlds.

Very reasonable asking price, save on the retail purchase, tax and shipping!

(note that Blade Tech also makes a lesser model for about what I'm asking for their top end model)

Double Tap Sports in Brampton will have Blade Tech holsters, comp belts, and mag pouches. I use the Blade tech Ice and CR speed pouches, Double tap belt.

Doubletap sports. Great service. If you call, you will likely speak with the owner.

-Double alpha or doubletap's inner and outer belt.
-Ghost stinger holster.
-5 Ghost 360 mag pouches
-a magnet for your Barney mag to go on the back of your belt. I made my own with a strong magnet and some Velcro instead of spending $60 on one.
I am shooting a gen4 Glock 17 in the production class and this is my set up for IPSC.

Comp-Tac's "International" model is excellent for IDPA or IPSC. I've rolled around on the ground with one during a carbine course and it held up fine.

I don't think any of the gun games allow a weapon mounted light unless you're LEO...running both sports with the same equipment will be a compromise...for IPSC most people run an inner and outer belt retained with Velcro, for IDPA your belt needs to go through the belt loops on your pants, so you may need two different setups. Holster rules are different too, although you can certainly shoot IPSC with an IDPA legal holster.
