I have a Sub 2K Gen II in 9mm (Glock) and totally love it. Was waiting forever for the .40 S&W version, and I finally have one coming in from Wanstalls next week. Since I have several Glock 17 mags, was wondering if these would work in the .40 cal rifle? I've been getting mixed answers. Is it safe to do so, or should I just get some more Glock 22 Mags?

Know any source for relatively cheap mags?
100% Yes- You can fit 7 .40 cal in a 9MM Magazine- Ive had it work just fine in my G22. I got 3 Magpul G17 mags for a deal I couldn't pass up, I tried them with Snap caps & they cycled Perfect, so, next time I took them to the Club, & they also ran 100% perfect.

Well the jury is in....I managed to try out 9mm in the .40 S&W magazines and vice versa. The 9mm shells sat too high, did not stack properly, and after about 8 rounds were loaded the spring pressure caused the cartridges to pop out on their own. The .40 in the 9mm mag sat too far down and would not feed properly. The moral of the story: use the right caliber magazine!
