This is getting know where lol

Beretta pros

-Abit more accurate
-You can shoot lead reloads
-Ambi mag release and safety
-more grip options

Beretta cons

-There cheaping out on plastic and powdered metal parts
-Front sight is fixed "cant replace"
-Slide safety is not for everyone
-Very few ad ons

Glock pros

-Durable
-Easy to work on
-Lots of ad ons
-Simple design

Glock cons

-you should not shoot soild lead bullets
-Trigger takes time to get use too
-Shoots good but needs afew mods to shoot great

Bottom line is they are both good pistols, so ask your self what fits my hand better and what one looks the prettiest :)

92FS breakage: When I had my 92FS, some heavy shooters said the top of the slide in the front where the sight sits can break apart, that's the only forward contact point the barrel has when it recoils, puts alot of stress on it.
The S in 92FS came from Beretta adding a slide catch disk on the frame, this would stop the slide from hitting the shooter in the face when the part that locks and unlocks the barrel (also supports the recoil spring) would give under +P+ loads.

I liked my 92FS, sold it to support other builds, now I run a G17 (has a few thousand rounds and still looks new)

You obviously don’t know WTF your talking about.

Glock is made of mostly plastic?

I have never seen powdered metal on a Beretta in my life.

I own four Beretta’s every one has replaceable front sights that have been replaced with fiber optic and/or a adjustable rear sight.

Two of them have compensators. As far as other add ons, one has a ported barrel one has a Doctor Optic sight. All have extended mag releases with rubber bumper pads on the mags. All have SS rod guides. These are mostly add on parts.

If your going to contribute something to this thread know WTF your talking about before you yap.

Well sir may I ask ARE YOU A GUNSMITH OR HAVE ANY FIREARMS ARMOUR TRAINGING???????????? WELL I DO "ALOT" :kickInTheNuts:

For starters the Beretta decocking pawls and afew other parts are made using MIMs alloy process. It saves money but not as strong.

Yes glocks are plastic but someone who is buying a metal gun may not realize that there are plastic parts on the newer berettas ie; saftey lever, trigger, guide rod, mag release.

As for the front sights Some berettas have removable front sights but the standard ones dont and nether do the M9s "I FIX THEN FOR A LIVING AND HAVE A BERETTA FACTORY COURSE, AT THE BERETTA FACTORY" I know WTF am talking about!

As for add ons, Glock is second to the 1911 for the amount of upgrades

Most of all, they are both great guns with good and bad points

I dont know why you seem to think your the king of the forum? but other CGNs may have views to share. Other CGNs with helpful tips not usless attacks :jerkit:

Am done talking and I'll let someone else back me up :)

Some good advice given... The best probably is pick the one you like best and that fits you best. I also liked the CZ comment. If it was me, it's hard not to like that CZ trigger.

wow i think some nerves might have been rattled a little there. thanks for all the input but this is supposed to be a friendly forum so lets keep our tempers down. i was looking more for the pros and cons rather than the personal preference but i wasn't about to throw those out

thanks a lot

Forget fit your hand unless you already know how to be holding it.

Then, go rent or borrow both and shoot 2-500 rounds in a class and see what you like better. Once you have a basis to decide on what fit and function means, then you can better decide for yourself.
