Glock 17 or S&W MP 9mm

That is amazing, I would love to come with you sometime and try out both guns and see how they feel and shoot.

Yeah sure man, the community at the range is really friendly so far from my experience....I picked up my LATT and badge and fob key on Friday, and put 400 rounds through my guns while I was there. Then since I got my LATT I was able to make it out to the annual pumkin shoot on Sunday! Which is another nice little perk of being a member there, I dont know if any of the other ranges have anything like that but it was great. I let other members try my pistol, and they let me try their guns. Someone let me shoot their 12 gauge shot gun which was my first time ever shooting a shot gun, and another guy let me try his CZ 75 which is another pistol I really wanted to get to try out...

Heres some 9mm hollow points VS jello filled pumkin action LOL

I also paid $10 for 2 raffle tickets, and won a raffle prize, Glock range bag, with Glock and Ruger promo stuff in it, 25 rounds of Zombie killer hollow points and some candy! All in all a great day at the range

Skip both...get 1911 in 9mm...you would have got there eventually...

Sorry my good man, but a 1911 is not the be-all-and-end-all.

It is a timeless design, like a Lee Enfield or Colt SAA, but it's not the "best" anymore.

I'm not at all suggesting a 1911 is junk, and in fact I know there are several great things about it, but it is certainly not to be treated as the pinnacle of things to work toward, especially compared to what modern guns are capable of.

That's amazing! Sounds like a kid trick or treating haha. Can't wait to experience that environment.
