I've wanted a Glock since they first came out. Shopping for a 17, what would you consider a good price for a new one?

What ever you pay as long as it isn't over $700.00 you can't go wrong, one of the best pistols out there.I used a model 22 for duty for years, took all kinds of abuse, and it's accurate also. They are a genuine work horse, very few parts, easy to clean.

The one year fee for GSSF is $35 american. Then you would qualify for the discount price at Police Ordanance. Both together are cheaper than any prices quoted and they have tons of stock. 3 mags with every purchase too.

Just my 2 c.. (and no, I have no affiliation to them but have bought from them with the LE discount)

Good timing on this question as I am in the market for a G17 or a G19. On the EE forum they are running anywhere from $575 to $600 on the low end and with optional sights...etc some are asking as high as $900-$975 ?? Doesn't seem to be much difference between new and used.

I found a G34 in 9mm for $750 and a G19 for $999.99 new ??

I thought there was a place in Que. that sold them the cheapest ??

Sporteque is good. Check fine print for the LE pricing .. perhaps you qualify. If not, GSSF membership is now available as a shopping cart item (for $40 Cdn/yr) then you will qualify for all LE pricing .. from Sporteque and/or Police Ordance.

PS. I purchased my G17 OD Gen 3 from Sporteque no problems. I qualified for LE prices and these prices are among the best in Canada.

Good luck.
