Glock 17 serial number

Hello i just recently bought a glock 17 gen3 with the advantage arms .22 kit on it. When i bought the pistol it did not come with the 9mm upper for it. Does this mean there is a upper with my serial number out there or do they not have a number on the slide? I am a new glock owner. Thanks.

No serial number on the slide that matters lol, my bad , early, no coffee, only the lower is registered

The upper the lower and the barrel from the factory all have the same serial number on them the only piece that is considered a firearm is the lower. To the best of my knowledge anyhow.
