Glock 17 with suppressor PICS

The slide AND barrel is ruined! I'd won't pay more than 200-250$ for this monstrosity. AKA the price of a complete lower.

well done, take it back and get a G17 with threaded barrel, or buy a PPQ Navy. doing this to a gun with so many aftermarket options is ridiculous to say the least. That slide is ruined defeating the purpose of high quality machining!
Thanks for sharing.

Sent him an email for my money back.. told him to keep $25 for himself for his troubles...

1) Glock slides are not that hard - folks cut then all the time to add MRDS to the guns.
2) The Slide coating is tough and extremely resistant to damage but can be easily cut thru.
3) Extended Threaded Barrels where built for a reason...

Could the user name of that person be disclosed? I don't ask to have it fully disclosed due to forum rules. Take out a letter or two, we'll guess.

I got my $$ back -$25.

For those who are interested:
The thread is up and on firearmscanada.com if you're interested in buying it. :)
The deal was $550 for the gun, 2 mags, fake suppressor, and leg holster.

I blame myself for jumping into the deal before asking the right questions..
It was only when I thought "Hmmm, the barrel is threaded right at the end of the slide... how does that work???"
If I wouldn't have asked then he would not have told me about the cut in the slide.

BTW anyone here that has a 9mm for sale I am now again in the market for one :)

I got a bnib glock 17 gen 4 with surefire X300 ultra and bladetech IWB holster that fits both. But i dont get access to the EE tell nov 15. Im being punished lol. Got night sights too and 3 extra mags for total of 5 all new never used.

I turned down a Glock Gen1 a while back because it had a bubba stipple job......I wish people would just leave their guns in a state where any mods could be reversed. I won't even put grip tape on my Tupperware guns

I'd buy it for $250 so I could practice cutting the slide for my RMR before I screw up my 34 slide.. Maybe even machine a bushing for it... But no more than that. Man, the things pople do make me scratch my head.

I thought Bubba only worked on very rare milsurps, who'd a thought he would get bored and start messing around with a glock!?

OP, you're fortunate imho. I hope you've been cleansed of the "tackticool virus" it damn near killed over $500 of your hard earned cash.

Glock=stock, If you want fake suppressors and hand rails galore buy a refurb sks or better yet a Chinese sks and fill your boots to your hearts content...leave your side arms as intended/designed. The shorter nature of hand guns makes it way too easy to shoot yourself or someone else with stupid trigger jobs, dremmel modifications or other unnecessary modifications.

I don't get why the guy wouldn't just get a threaded lone wolf barrel for ~$200...

Lower will cost you at $300-325. +$50 for mags....
