Point taken. There is more to shooting than just accuracy, especially for a new shooter, IMO. When I take a brand new shooter out, they can focus solely on sight picture and trigger pull when they use my Glock. With one of my Smith's they're dealing with more mechanical issues like an uneven DA/SA trigger and a decocker that distracts them.
The Glock 17, Smith M&P, and XD are all pistols I recommend to new shooters who want to have fun and enjoy the sport without having to spend a fortune. If someone intended to shoot Bullseye or ISU, obviously something else would be better.
