Glock 19 Gen 4 Rare?

I've been hearing from a few people (local gun store,
couple guys at range) that the Gen 4 Glock 19
is tough to come by. Something about limited runs and threaded barrel.

Is this true ? Should I buy one while I have the chance or wait around on EE?

A few sponsors have them in stock as we speak. Both in black and fde.

Most of them are Gen3 or Gen3 with thread barrel. Haven't seen many Gen4...

My dad has had a Gen 4 G19 for over a year in the U.S. They aren't common here, but they exist.

They are out there, but only with aftermarket barrels. Unless i have the only one.

I like the Glock 19 better than the 17, it shoots much better for me.

The Gen 4 Glock 19 pistol, with the improved Glock 26/27 recoil spring, does even better still. I'm waiting for my first one, having tried out a buddy's pistol on the range. I predict that if you like the G19, you'll love the Gen4 version of it. If you hate it, they seem to sell quickly on the EE if you aren't following tradition and selling for cost + 100%...

They use the 26/27 design and make it longer to fit the 19.

Silliness aside, I think by 26/27 spring, he means gen4 spring in general.

Damn, the protruding barrel doesn't look as ridiculous as I imagined. The Glock 30 is supposed to have similar dimensions to the 19/23 right? I wonder if the non-prohibited G30s look as...for lack of a better word, "acceptable".

Then Gen4 G19 is not tough to come by. If you don;t mind paying for a gun and a barrel.
