I did a bit of my own research, could I get someone to privately buy the barrel, then run it through IRG? If you have the time, do you mind giving me a kinda step by step haha? Just mildly confusing haha, how are you liking your barrels though, and what kind of rounds are you putting through it?
Why do you need someone else to buy it for you? Process is as follows, Call KKM on phone, say "Hello I would like to buy such and such barrel, and have it shipped to my dealer/importer IRUNGUNS" You pay with credit card, they make your barrel and ship it to IRG. IRG contacts you when they receive the barrel, or you just go on their site and fill out the import form, you give them your info and pay the fees/tax for importing it, wait till their next import schedule for Canada (usually once a month, cutoff date being the 15th of the month, and arrival in Canada the first or 2nd week of the following month). They import it to Canada, then mail it to your house...Done....Its not cheap, but if people dont have what you want in Canada, then I pay the price and get it from the US through IRG or another importer . Everything about importing through IRG is on their website, or has probably be discussed 100000000 times on here...That is how I figured this out, and I have only had my gun lic for a little over a year...
I like them, but like I said they are KKM standard barrels, that have been further modified and coated after KKM made them. That is the only reason I had KKM send it to a company in California before going to IRG for export/import, then that company sent it and other parts and guns for me to IRG when everything was complete. If I just wanted a standard barrel from KKM then I would just have KKM ship it direct to IRG...
This is in my 19
This is the KKM I run in my Glock 21
In the 19 I run mostly American eagle 9mm 124gr and 147gr
In the 21 I run mostly American eagle .45 230 gr
The only problem you would have is because you have a GLOCK 19, the standard length non threaded barrels are prohibited, and would not be legal to import to Canada. Hence the reason I had them make me one 106mm long, so it would be legal. If your interested in a threaded barrel then this is not an issue as threaded barrels are even longer then the 105mm minimum Canadian law. I went 106mm to be safe because I read that even 105.9mm would be considered 105mm. So 1mm extra to be safe in my case, as I did not want a threaded barrel
