You bet
Much tighter tolerances and fit... BarSto has a reputation for making some of the most accurate handgun barrels around. Their Match Target barrels are superb... their "Semi-Drop-In" are the ones we install in the Compact and Subcompact Glocks... they are quite good and usually quite a bit more accurate than the factory Glock barrel.
Having said that... I have seen some factory Glocks that could shoot very very well... but those were not the norm (in my opinion). Like any standard factory product there are tolerances and each barrel, slide, frame, etc. will be within those tolerances... some assemblies will have more "slop" than others... too loose and your accuracy goes to crap.
Of course you give up stuff too. The BarSto is tight... even the chambers... it's designed for factory ammo... reloads will often have a problem chambering... the chambers are not as forgiving as a factory Glock barrel. That's one of the trade-offs.
