I like Glock, but want to get the G19 or 23 one.

Where can I buy Glock 19 or 23 with extended legal Canadian barel? I have looked around on the stores on this forum, but no one has them.

Can anyone help me please?

Also, does Glock has carry kit package as well??

wow..they are much more expensive eh? I wonder why? Is it because with custom barrel?

$600 for the gun + $150 for the barrel = Nowhere near the price they are going for.

I guess they are more expensive because there isn't as much demand and orders are not in such high quantities, but still doesn't make sense at the prices being charged.

If you want one I suggest heading over to Buffalo Gun Centre for a road trip. Even after the $100 + 5% export fee you will likely save some cash.

I believe they had a Canadian legal G27 for $600 last time I was there.

You can have them add a canadian legal barrel to a used compact glock if they have em in stock as well.

I'd give em a call.

You can thank me later. ;)

and after the cost of gas $$ ($50 rnd trip in my 6cyl.) and kms. on car and time to do that, did you save anything just for a barrel of $150 ? ?

Just trolling this thread to brag about my G19 being the only Gen 3 in Canada that's also a 12-6 with no silly extended barrel.

That's just plain mean.

The least you could have done, if you were going to rub it in, was to post a picture or two. :)

If the rest of us are going to suffer, at least we can dream...

What a pistol looks like is less important than can you carry it wherever you go like any of our cousins south of the border generally beginning at 16 years of age. Grown men and women here in Canada cannot do that and we are all asking each other why. This, I find funny.

One day my friend.... the pendulum is starting to swing the other way.

The IGB barrels are premium barrels from Austria. The IGB catalog price is very close to the Canadian importer's that sells them for just over $300. So we aren't getting any less of a deal on them than other countries. They are fully supported and treated by plasma nitration. These aren't to be confused with $150 drop in conversion barrels.

Who's selling them with the IGB's?

Ahh....Sporteque good to know!

One bit of politics for you to consider:

prohibited firearm = confiscation

prohibited firearm with grandfathered status = confiscation in slow motion

12.X does little to nothing for anyone in the short term, and absolutely nothing for anyone in one generation. Grandfathering is really the most insidious and effective form of confiscation, as it convinces the last generation of owners that their firearms have not actually been confiscated. But they have been, the government has just allowed you to hold on to them a little while longer... to placate you. Keeps the angry voices (and votes) down for now.

Pictures of a restricted GLOCK 19 with IGB barrel. I think they look fabulous. People try and buy this green gun from me all the time (including one of the range officers at my home range... you know who you are!). I look forward to the day when the barrel length requirements for pistols are removed in this country, but we definitely won't get their by cherishing grandfathered status. That's like holding on tight to your grandfather... when he is already in the grave!

That is pretty sweet.

Holy s**t, what is with Sporteques prices? They are way higher then most other places. Why would anyone shop there? I only compared a couple of handguns there but they were literally hundreds more then even my local store.
