Glock 19 or Not

I like the G19 size grip far better than the full size Glocks. I have smaller hands and the sub compacts fit way better. I also hate finger grooves, so I will hang onto my Gen 2's. Also like the look of the barrels as they were meant to be.

For people that really can't handle the aftermarket barrel concept, you can now get a GLOCK factory threaded barrel for the G19 as well. Questar has gotten a few small shipments of them. I got one to try it out. The truth is, the IGB Austria barrels I have been using are substantially more accurate than any GLOCK factory barrel. I got my factory barrel for a novelty, but I don't really use it much. When I shot my G19 with it, it reminds me of when I used to shoot my bone-stock G17 - good, but not great.

The factory threaded barrel is 117mm. IGB barrel is 106mm. Factory spec is 102mm:

What about a 4th Gen G17, they have the different grip options.

Back to the original Glock 19 subject: get one. I have large hands and don’t complain on the size. I even like this better than full size 17/22. What i like about them is the balance and the way they fill. Most people they love the 9mm Sig 226, but the gun than made Sig popular is still the 228/P6. Balance and the natural feel of an object you hold, arms fully extended, at eyes level, while you try to keep steady looking “at” and thru the little sights while you ignore the back one………but focus at the front one….you get my point. The way the pistols feel in your hand makes them usable or not. The 19s made me feel i need more ammo. The end
