Glock 19 to 23 Conversion and NEW QUESTION!

I'm not sure, but as AFAIK, the 17 can't be turned into a 22, so I would expect the same thing to be true for the compacts.

FWIW, I think going from the 22 to a 17 works, and probably the same for a 23 to a 19, but not the other way around.

Never tested it though

EDIT: I just checked Glock's website, all the dimensions are the same, so maybe it wouldn't be a problem

Yep 22 to 17 works. LW has a conversion barrel.

As for the logical part is sorta is. The 22/23 being in .40 has a bigger ejection port/locking block. No way you can stuff that into a 17/19 slide...
 
I think the ejection port and locking block are the same, but the .40 barrel has a larger outside diameter so it would not fit in the hole at the end of the slide.
