Glock 19 vs CZ P10c vs SandW 2.0 compact

The glock does feel like a 2x4 in the hand especially compared to my P226. Those polymer p80 ones sound interesting as they changed the grip to be more like a 1911. Too bad nobody near me has one for me to actually hold but they are basically a glock gen 3 with the different frame and come in compact version as well might be worth a look.

Glock 19 is too big for my grip , never handled P10c but they sure look ###y out of the box ….unlike the Glock .
My 48 both shoots and looks amazing ….after extensive customization , but dang , those CZs look real good too .

48 might have to be my second choice. I can’t find P10c anywhere.

How much $ did you put into it?

The Glock is the only one of the three that can come with a 106 mm barrel. Other two come with threaded barrels

Unless you’re planning only on shooting for fun then how it feels in your hands shouldn’t enter into it. For sure, shooting a handgun that fits your hands just right is one of true pleasure of shooting, but if you’re looking to shoot as well as you can then as long as you can easily and safely reach the controls then what matters most is how well you can shoot the pistol. The first time I tried a Glock I hated hated how it felt compared to my third Gen S&W 9mm…the odd grip angle, the sproingy trigger, the blocky grip. But when I checked the target damned if I didn’t shoot it really well.

I know this is only a cosmetic thing but this would weigh in the G19’s favour for me. Since the factory Glock barrel sticks past the slide a bit anyway the 106mm barrel looks nearly like a stock model.

Original cost was…..I think about $750 . I got the basic sights , non mos version as I was planning on an optic . Then BlackBox Customs did the slide with side windows , dragon snout porting , and shaving off all of the edges along the slide length , drilled and mounted a Sentry RmSc , ceracoted mid gloss black , added a spiral fluted match barrel (rival) , Apex flat faced trigger , then finished the frame with a custom stipple and trigger guard undercut (which snugged my finger up tight for the best solid grip of any of my pistols) .
That , in total , with all of the parts including the Sentry was about $1100.00 . I think the ceracote was on sale for half price that day .
After shooting it I can honestly say that I’m not just happy with my (almost) $2000 Glock (as a person who loves my steel and wood pistols and never ever had ANY desire for a “plastic” pistol -color ME surprised and humbled by my change of heart) .
I got lucky on timing as I dropped it off last year in late fall and it was ready to go by Christmas .
The work by BlackBox on my pistol is without flaw …..repeat , WITHOUT flaw . All of the work on the milling , fit and finish is perfect , it shoots like a laser and functions 100% , zero malfunctions . I’ve tried at least three different commercial loads in it , eats it all .
My other pistols can enjoy some long term storage because they aren’t getting to dance at all this summer !
If you’re thinking of doing one up at BB I can , without reservation , endorse it wholeheartedly …..I’m thinking next of grabbing up a 45 cal Glock and giving it the treatment for the next project .
Just DOOOOOOO ITTTTTTT , LOL .

Some people will question why a Canadian would want a compact pistol, but I think they are both fun and cool. You can't go wrong with the Glock 19 as it is big enough to be a duty gun. The 106mm stock barrel is nice and barely protrudes past the slide.
