Glock 19x - thoughts?

Anyone running a 19x? How do you like it? What holster are you using? I just purchased mine a month ago and had to leave before being able to put a round through it. 8 days, I would like to live vicariously!
 
if my G17 or G19 ever come out of the safe again ill be surprised.
i put some AmeriGlow Agent sights on it...... OMG love them!

as a left handed shooter this glock makes sense to me.
just something about it.....

ill admit it im not a glock fanboy but i do really like the 19X.
i dont think ive shot any of my S&W's since i got my 19X now that i think about it!
 
People who have them don't seem to be selling them... I've been waiting on a good deal on one on the EE! Only ever seen two come up
 
A G19 slide on a G17 frame. 3 mags, steel sights, finger groove-less, a cool lanyard loop all in Coyote. What's not to like?
I shot my buddy's the other day. $805 plus tax & free shipping.
Don't know how they did it but the barrel barely sticks out vs the little pecker on the g19.
If I didn't already own a gen3 G17 and was in the market.......

I'd contact Soley Canadian for a holster.
 
I had one and really liked it with one exception - the color of the finish. As a rule, I like my guns to be black and the "maple fudge" look wore off on me very quickly. If it had a black slide, i would have kept it. All black would be better yet. I knew it going in but I wanted to try it out.

This may also effect me getting a Glock 48, looks too much like a S&W SD9VE.
 
I am a CZ guy but another member bought one of these and I am impressed, shot very well with nice ergo's and a nice trigger( owner had a trigger job on it when he bought it) Not as nice as my SHADOW BUT VERY NICE!
 
I’ve had my 19X for a couple of months but finally got around to using it.

As a day one Glock owner I wasn’t expecting anything too different but I was blown away with the feel, handling, ergonomics and shooting. This will definitely be a keeper and may prevent my anticipated G48 purchase.

I’ve never tried the various backstraps but may give them a try.

Do many of you use the various backstraps?
 
The trigger on the gen 5 is much better than my gen 4. I have owned a glock 26 and a glock 19 before but ended up selling them as the Canadian barrel was just not aesthetically pleasing. The glock 19x the barrel actually looks like it belongs on the gun.
 
I've debated getting one a few times and this may seem like a really stupid reason to most people but I just can't get past the color. Actually, it's not even the color, it's the fact that some parts are still black that bugs me. If the barrel, mag release, etc were coyote color as well I would have gotten it.
