Glock 19x?

Well, I ended up with three 19Xs. I don't need three, but managed to get three because of some preorders chances that I took and that came through. (I didn't expect all of them to come through, but they did and transfer reference numbers have been issued). Not sure if i sould be happy or upset, LOL.

Anyways, If we are still able to sell privately after the transfers go through (probably in 4-6 months from now with the way things have been going) then I'd be willing to sell or trade one.

Lol how is that even possible. Buying 3 of the same gun is never a mistake. That's a calculated move. At least u have a backup for ur backup.

Closest thing would technically be the Glock 45. I believe you could of imported them with IRG with a threaded barrel at one point. That ship has sailed unfortunately...

we were a few to get some. i went another way: purchased one on irg us waited a few months provided them a barrel compatible for g19 gen4-5 and voila a legal g45 in canada ... i added only gns and i reallly like it.

the worst is that the g45 mos is available for LEO agencies in canada so it will not have been hard to get some with the canadian g19x barrel but no none took the chance for us.

That's my biggest complaint with the 19x, no MOS option. I have a 19x and really like it. Wish I could find a second in fact. Fast, full-size grip but no MOS option sucks. (the little bump on the bottom sucks also for gen 5 mags but that's easy to fix with new baseplates for the mags or a dremel on the gun.

I'm not a huge fan of the MOS on regulars Glocks as I had issues with Glock plates but its easy to get a slide milled and Nitrited Black so it looks factory. The new Holosun SCS that bolts right to the MOS cut is a bit of a game changer to because your not screwing into a thin plate but the slide itself. On the 19x, if you want to ever run an optic someday and if you want to keep the finish its milling then trying to match with cerakote which isn't as durable.

Yes I was able to secure one. There was originally only 10 in stock. At RDSC when they run out of stock the back order option comes up. They were sold out of the 10 in roughly an hour.

Thanks. Im sure I will enjoy it in a year when the transfer finally goes through . I’ve been waiting 11 weeks and counting on a few in Alberta.
