Anyone seen a OD Green Glock20 for sale in Canada? I know they exist, but never seen on in person or even listed for sale anywhere...who sells them? and who has the best price?

Never cared for glocks but kinda like the green frame models... :ninja:

BTW what kind of chamber support does Glock 20 have? Can anyone post a photo of the chamber/barrel with a round in? thanks

I think your going to be a little hard up to find a 10mm Glock in Green, black would be a lot less troublesome to find. I've only seen a couple of 10mm guns in Alberta.

Shooting Edge has an OD Green in .40 and I believe Questar has (had) them in Desert Camo as well.

I'd get a conversion barrel to 10mm, than you can shoot both. The gun itself "should" handle it.

on the other hand, you could get a .357 sig conversion barrel, that ammo is allot easier to come by.

Questar should be able to order you an OD Green G20 direct. I know that I have a G19 OD on it's way thanks to them.

Shoot Mark an email, he'll help you out.

Assuming they haven't changed the chamber/barrel dimensions there is a fair bit of unsuported cartridge that left a nice 'smiley' on the brass.

I will take a picture of some brass after a hot load tonight unless someone beats me to it.

Cheers

Unfortunately I sold the gun a long time ago (like a fool). It was a Gen 2 and I will be a little slower off the mark with photos than I hoped. Will do ASAP though

BTW: I never had any problems personally with brass flowing too much or splitting even with some fairly hot handloads....that is just my xperience nad others may vary.

Cheers

Dude, you cant swap a .40 glock to 10mm. The rounds won't even fit in the mags.

I don't know if 10mm rounds will fit in a .40 mag or not. I do know that people sell conversion barrels from 10mm to .40 and .357 Sig for the Glock 20.

All it would take to convert a .40SW Glock to 10mm is a 10mm barrel and maybe some 10mm mags. The guns are identical otherwise, as far as I know.

Frame size is different. G17 and G22 have the same frames, G21 and G20 use larger frames to fit larger calibers like .45acp and 10mm. SO you can't convert a G17 or G22 to 10mm but you can convert a G20 to .40 or .357sig...

Glock 20 is available in OD Green... we don't stock them but can order one for you. Cost on these is a bit higher because they only offer them with hi-cap mags and the mags have to be changed to 10 round so this affects the cost a bit.

If you're interested contact me by regular e-mail. An order placed now could be here before end of the month.

I sure can...Please forgive the crappy image quality. A new camera seems to take a backseat to gun related purchases..

As you can see there is not an abundance of support. I have not had problems with factory ammo deforming, but nuclear handloads would be a different story. The chamber on mine isn't very tight either. It mics out at .4295" (10mm is .425"). Oh yeah, this is a second gen G20 I'm talking about.

As IM Lugger stated there is a difference in the frames between the G22 and the G20. Considering that the frame for the G22 was originally designed for the 9mm as the G17, I'm not sure how keen I would be to push 10mm through it. The G20 is a beefy gun when compared to its smaller siblings. The slide alone is 40 grams heavier than even my G21. Engineers usually strenghten things for good reason.

I have A 1st gen G20 and I'll guarantee you my 10mm loads are hot... Shot IPSC with it once!!!! PF was about 250....Something like 1390 with a 180 JHP....the brass may deform a bit but never had one let go and they don't deform that bad.. All glocks get the "smiley" as you call it...

She carried nicely in a shoulder rigs and 3 mags of 13 is more that anyone should need... But I left the shoulder rig and higher-cap mags in TN...

Thanks for the input. I haven't got a set of dies yet so I haven't loaded for the 10mm. 250 PF  I stand corrected on the 'nuclear handloads' comment then. Very good to know I can stick with the stock barrel when I move to something more powerful than wimpy factory 10mm ammo.

Are you sure? I know Buds gun shop in US has one in stock with 10 round mags

www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/21_43/products_id/12894

And I doubt they replaced the mags; I was thinking of importing a gun from them that had a 15 round mags and they refused to swap the mags for me...

Yes, checked several US Distributors and they don't even list the Glock 20 OD Green with 10 round mags... I'm not saying Glock didn't make it but dealers can't buy direct from Glock only through distributors and the distributors may have stopped carrying it or just don't sell enough of it to bother with.

You can always buy the one from Bud's and have us do a 3rd Party Purchase import for you...
