Glock 21 Gen 4....its a monster!

Funny, I held a Gen 3 21 and a Gen 3 20 today.....they felt great! But I have bigger hands. Lol

Ok, question on the 10mm conversion, can you then use standard 21 mags with the 10mm?

I've never held the Gen 3 21, but people tell me it was a real 2x4 in the hand. The Gen 4 is much more manageable for girly hands like mine, but can be adjusted up accordingly with the backstraps iffin you have big mitts. I'll have to admit that the 10mm gives me a bit of a chubby too, but I figured I couldn't go wrong with 45acp considering the availability of ammo, and besides, I watched Hickock45 knock over the ram with a Gen 4 21 lol!

I love the Gen 3 fullsize. I sold my first one a year or so ago and regretted it ever since. Picked up another just like it yesterday, had to have one again. I'm a 1911 lover but the ol G21 is a great pistol and it feels perfect to me.

Right now I am trying to decide which 45 acp to get and I have it down to a S&W M&P 45 or the Glock 4th gen model 21.
I have the S&W M&P 9mm range kit and I really like it so I was leaning that way for the 45 but when I spotted the 10 mm conversion for the 21 it has peaked my interest.
I just need to get a hold of the two and see which one feels better to me. In the past Glocks didn't feel that good to me but maybe it is time to try one.

Bless you!

Same here. Never liked the Gen 3 9mm or 40 Glocks, but I love my Gen 4 17. On the other hand, I think I actually prefer the standard Gen 3 21 over the Gen 4.

Had a chance to handle the M&P as well as the 21 at a gun shop today, first impression is that the M&P was a better fit for me but I do have to admit that the gen 4 21 is the best feeling Glock I have ever held.
I think there is a member at my local club with a 21(not sure on the gen he has) that I hope to meet up with and maybe give his a try and see how well I can shoot it or not.

Glock finally figured it out with the Gen 4 Glock 21. If you have small to medium sized hands, the older Glock 21's were just too big. Even the Glock 21 SF was just OK. The Gen 4 Glock 21with no back-strap is great for me and most unless you have catchers mitts for hands.

With the new Gen 4 Glock 21s, how does a full mag, 10 rounds fit into the gun. I remember it being quite hard to load the last round and racking the slide was very hard as well with 10 rounds. It almost needed to be loaded down one tell the springs in the mags got weaker.

No issues for me with 10 rounds in the mag. Takes a bit more of a conscious push to seat the mag with the slide forward, but no issues racking the slide to get the first round in.

I 've had my G17C (gen 3)for a bout a year & shoot extremely well with it . I bought a G21 (gen 4) & love it . I shoot very well with this pistol as well . pic of the bobsey twins.

The 17 fits my hands o.k. but the 21 is just perfect .
