Someone on these boards has both these handguns for sale, both are .45. I have a Sig P226R 9mm on the way but I'd like a second, larger caliber.

The Glock 21 is goijng for $670 and is pretty much new, the Tanfoglio is pretty much new as well, going for $475.

Can anyone give me some feedback on the Tanfoglio? As good as the Glock? Worth it? Should I just spend the extra cash and go for the Glock?

between those two guns...id buy the glock. Im not a glock fanatic thou. I only own 3 glocks. The plus side to the glock over the tanfogliaolditi is that the glock may be easier to find parts and mags for. You can't go wrong with the glock. Now if you want a sweet 45....get a 1911 tricked out! lol...we can only dream.

i would get the glock...easier mags to find, tons of parts, high $ retention, and more reliable!

Yah, looks like I'll be going for the Glock 21. I've heard of Tanfoglio but didn't know how they compared to Glock's.
