GUYS AND GALS,
I DECIDED TO POST THIS GLOCK BUILD AS I NOTICE MANY PEOPLE ARE ASKING ABOUT GLOCK AFTERMARKET PARTS AND UPGRADES. I'M IN NO WAY AN EXPERT ON THESE PISTOLS HOWEVER I HAVE BEEN PLAYING WITH THEM FOR QUITE SOME TIME NOW AND HAVE MY 21SF DOWN TO A SCIENCE. FIRST OFF THE SF VERSIONS OF THE GLOCKS ARE LIMITED TO WHAT KIND OF AFTERMARKET PARTS ARE AVAILABLE, THE FRAME IS THINER SO RECOIL BUFFERS AND MAGWELLS ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR THEM. IF YOUR GOING TO ORDER PARTS FOR SF MODELS MAKE SURE THEY ARE GOING TO FIT, I LEARNED THE HARD WAY THE FIRST FEW, BUT FOR THE MOST PART THEY ARE ALL OK.

PERSONALLY GLOCKS HAVE A SLOPPY TRIGGER, THE PRE-TRAVEL IS LONG, AND THE OVER TRAVEL IS HORRIBLE (TO MUCH FREE PLAY) THE TRIGGER WEIGHT IS DECENT CONSIDERING IT IS A DUTY GUN HOWVER CAN BE IMPROVED DRAMATICALLY WICH IN TURN WILL HELP WITH ACCURACY ESPECIALLY AT LONGER RANGES.
FIRST OFF WITH ALL THESE PARTS I HAVE ALSO USED THE LONE WOLF SPRING KIT FOR EVERY SPRING IN THE GUN.

ALSO A VID FOR YOU GUYS TO SEE THE TRIGGER IN ACTION (THIS IS ADJUSTED TO MY LIKING, PRE TRAVEL AGAIN CAN BE ADJUSTED MORE IF WANTED)

IF YOU GUYS HAVE ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE FEEL FREE TO LET ME KNOW, KEEP IN MIND YOUR GOING TO NEED PATIENCE AT THE RANGE ONCE ITS ALL DONE, AS YOUR MINOR ADJUSTMENTS TO THE TRIGGER MEANS TAKING A SHOT OR TWO, THEN TEARING DOWN THE GUN TO ADJUST.

That trigger looks good. Looks like all that normal slack is gone. How is the reset with that trigger?

I am interested to see an on-going report on the Ti parts, because Ti is so brittle I wondered what kind of life could be expected from the striker. Also, does anyone know if you could have used the glock 34/35 connector as it is also around 3.5#?

the reset on the trigger is great, it feels short. as for the titatium parts they have 2000 rounds so far and not a problem, as for brittle i would say they are better made then the factory components.

Hello ,I have gen 4 35 and am looking for most of the same parts.Did you get them in Canada? cant seem to find anyone that has all the parts in stock.Id like to only place one order instead of peice by peice from different suppliers.thanks

The key to running the Ti plunger and striker in Glocks is to make sure you run both. If you run just the plunger, it will wear quickly against the harder steel striker. And vice versa if you use the Ti striker and stock plunger it will wear the striker quickly. This has been documented on pretty much all of the big Glock boards. The steel used in the factory Glock parts is in fact stronger than the Ti parts, but also heavier. The benefit of the Ti parts is that they are lighter, aiding in trigger pull and split times, but also strong for their weight, Ti is not however always stronger than steel.
