Hold on now, i posted this cause i thought it was interesting. Its not to bash any other types of handguns. I have a Beretta as well and its a nice gun, just doesnt fit my hand as well as the Glock. Im currently looking for a all metal pistol that fits my hand like my Glock 17, i just havnt got to a gun store to hold any in my hands. Im liking the look of the Sig 226 and 220 but will have to wait tell i get to a store to hold them to know for sure.
 
That's pretty sweet considering I own a G21SF but something doesn't seem right to me!!! On picture 17 I think it is you can see a titanium safety plug/pin and a chrome slide release but when you look at the tray before and after he cleaned it the slide release and safety plug are standard so WTF?????? If he changed parts out in mid test then its bull####, it's that or it's a different gun!
 
I am a sig nut, that is undoubtedly impressive to say the very least. What's so impressive is that it continues to group as well as when it was new.
 
Just shows that thinking I need to clean my Glock after a couple of hundred rounds or a few range trips is obsessive behaviour. :D

Not gonna matter if you ever need the gun to defend yourself. That was the point of the article.

Yes there are guns that are target pistols, and are much more accurate then a Glock, however Sig wouldn't be my first choice either.

We are talking about 100% reliable pistols to trust your life with, you wanna talk about target pistols, unfortunately they are 2 different things.
Unfortunately for you I don't believe your Sig is on top of either of those categories.

And I no longer own a Glock so no fanboy here. I just call em how I see em.
 
i love these tests...especially when he takes on the famous hk....after reading this it reduced my desire for the hk pistol platform
 
Its very impressive to see, But honestly, how often are you ever going to see that? When is your HK or Sig or Glock ever going to see that kind of treatment? Im sure if sh!t hit the fan and you grab that HK or Sig or S&W from your safe of where ever you keep it. It will work just fine to.

Just my 2 cents

Please do tell why. Unless that is just an unfounded opinion. I have 3 Glock 20s and conversions for several different calibres. I don't notice any difference at all. 1000 rounds through one pistol in an outing isn't uncommon, that says a lot for reliability to me.
