Hello all, simple question, Is there a better trigger then what comes stock on this Glock 21? Its so mushy and weird. My Sig P226 is sooooo much better.

You don't get sig perfection when you buy a glock. I personally like the feel of a metal trigger myself but I prefer the reset on the glock to any sig or whatnot. There are lots of aftermarket parts available just a matter of doing some research on the Web but I'm sure others will chime in where to go.

You get used to the mush. You can get great trigger control and shot placement with a Glock. It works so well when you get a few thousand rds practice. I find the mushy trigger reset is still short enough to help me get nice tight double taps. And when moving you can engage the target and have this mushy slack to pull as your lining the gun up. I'll never say a stock Glock has an amazing trigger but its so effective when used as it was intended.

My G17 with a NY1 and OEM 3.5(-) connector has a nice crisp trigger reset. "My" G21 gen4 had an even crisper trigger reset out of the box.
IMO...the take up may be a little mushy (noticeable when I'm practicing at home and focused but never noticeable with live ammo on the range) but Glocks have the best trigger reset.
I had a Sig p220..... never got used to the DA/SA trigger design.

low quality? Have you ever broken one?

Yep - now THAT'S a good point.

Also - everything has it's intended purpose, use, and strengths - these need to be taken into account when acquiring a new firearm. Nothing is good for everything.

Don't misunderstand me - I have a few Glocks and a SIG (my P226 TACOPS - ohhhhhh .....) - both could / are my 'go to' pistols. depending on my mood. But I gotta say, I would NEVER put my SIG through the torture you see them go through on Youtube (underwater, mud, buried, etc ...). The Glock is designed to ALWAYS work - regardless of environment - so there has to be a trade-off for that type of performance.

Let's not forget - ya put a bell on the collar of a cat, you're only gonna hear that bell for a day or two - put a couple thousand rounds through your G21, I guarantee that trigger 'problem' will resolve itself.

If you really don't like your trigger - take it to a gunsmith and get him to do a trigger job on it (polish the internals and what-not) - this can make a HUGE difference.

Thanks ladies and gents. Ill practice more with it and see before I do anything to it. My P226 is a Tacops too. I guess I got spoiled with the SIG :)

Yep, maybe try a 3.5# connector.

Oh and just ignore element115. I think he drinks and posts just to get attention. Look at his post history for examples.

Glocks are very easy to work on, polish your own internals after watching a few YouTube video's. I did this and installed a Ghost Ultimate trigger bar. Reset is excellent, take up is short and has just a slight bit of creep. It's certainly not comparable to my CZ 75 Shadow but it is nicer and allows very accurate shooting at 25 metre's.
