I just bought my first handgun today and was just wondering how do you adjust the rear sight for windage on the fixed sight model glock 21 thanks
 
Shoot it left handed for a few boxes and compare to your right handed target. Get back to us with the results.

Precision-machined, steel tool safely removes, installs and adjusts front and rear sights on handguns. Clamp your slide into the tool and line up the sights with unit’s pusher tip for removal. If you need to borrow a sight pusher tool I have a glock one you can borrow. You pay shipping both ways and I'll lend it to you. PM me if you're interested. This offer goes out to anyone else as well. No need for everyone buying a sight tool for 10 minutes worth of use.

TDC is generous but you don't need a sight tool. A round punch, a rubber mallet and a folded towel is all you need. Place the towel over the end of the punch and tap it at the bottom of the rear sight with the mallet. It should move slightly. Don't bash it and go slow or you could crack the sight. Also I don't agree that it could only be operator error that could cause his POI to be off. The barrel is not connected to the slide. Minor variations in manufacturing and mating of slide to barrel at lock up can cause the POI to be off even if the sights appear "centered" in the slide. Look at the gap between the barrel and slide of your glock and someone else the next time you are at the range. There will be slight variances in that gap. Any varience there will likely cause both glocks to shoot to a different POI. Ammo can be a variable as well.

I'm not buying it. Shooting either my Glock 17 or 26, my buddies 17/26 or my buddies SIG 220(9mm) or Kimber, I have no issues hitting what I want. Oddly enough, all of our sights are centered in the slide. The operator induces more error than offset sights or manufacturing variances.

Maybe - but I had to drift adjust the sights on my 19 and it's sights appeared to be centered on the slide. I didn't have to touch the sights on my Sig, Browning, 1911..etc, etc or my buddies PSP, revolvers etc...YMMV.
