i see .50 guncraftindustries has a conversion for my glock, and i was wondering has anyone used this? if so how well did it work?

More trouble than it's worth... most likely.

I'd first try and locate a source for brass. I think that is going to be the problem. If you can get brass... then by all means by the kit and post pics

i knew some guys that were talking bout picking one up...but from what ive read the only novelty of it is the ".50cal" name. i dont think the speeds are that much different or faster.

just buy a DE!

Love the idea. Totally cost prohibitive though. $600 for the slide. Then you have to buy the brass, bullets, and dies. Totally impractical, but I still want one.

The bullet velocity is actually significantly lower than .45ACP (which is already a fairly slow-moving round). You might as well just pick up the bullet and toss it at the target.

It'd still be faster than me throwing bullets. I'm kind of fat and slow.
