Hey fellas and gals,
I was hoping someone could enlighten me with an issue my new G 22 seems to have. I can fire 10 rounds with a cold gun at 12 yds from a rest to keep rounds as tight as possible, and it shoots groups of about 3" and the group is about 1.5" high from one inch sticker. Liveable...I guess. Now the thing is that the next couple of mags that I go through now that the gun has warmed up begin to shoot about 2" low and group about 4". What might cause such a variation in accuracy? My grip, rest, distance, ammo...nothing has changed aside from the gun being warm. What could it be? Getting frustrated. My other handguns don't seem to have this issue.

I notice myself starting off shooting really nice groups but after the 3rd mag or so, they start widening. My problem is that I slowly start to shoot faster and I don't take the time to focus on EACH shot as much as when I just got to the range. When that happens, I have to back off for a sec to regroup and refocus then go back and shoot again. I go pickup my brass when that starts happening to take my mind off shooting then go back again with full concentration. The same thing happens with my golf game at the driving range. My swing eventually starts getting faster and faster as my confidence gets too big and soon enough my form goes out the door.

Then again that's just me and not sure if this happens to anyone else.

I do find that I do the same thing Trinimon. I pick up brass when I notice it happening as well just to think about what might be happening. I'll head to the range tonight with it again and really, really take my time and work on that concentration. Thanks!
