Good day all.
Here's a question for all you Glock experts out there. I just purchased a Glock 22 gen 4 of the EE. I was surprised to find that the back strap on my model is not interchangeable. It's one solid piece molded into the frame. I'm I missing something here? I thought all Gen 4 models had interchangeable back straps. Any help would be much appreciated.

Is it actually a gen 4? Does it say Gen 4 on the slide? Does it have the backstrap pin? I have no idea if a Gen 4 slide fits on a Gen 3 frame, if it does that might be what happened.

Is it possible you just received the gun with no back straps in the box? The backstraps on glocks arent like the M&P or others. It comes with no backstraps installed and the additional two backstraps are just pieces in the box.

Gen 4 should have a groove running up the back of the grip and a pin at the top. Pop the pin and add on one of the two grips back straps that cam with it. Size small is the frame, medium and large are the add ons.

Cheers.

Thanks so much everybody. The seller didn't send the extra back straps. So, i mistakenly thought it didn't have that option. Boy.. i feel stupid.
Thanks for the detailed picture pigeonman. That helped a lot.
