Good Day All

I just had my new Glock 22 out to the range today and found that she shoot's low, even at ten yard's she is still about 4 inches low.
Is there any way to modify the stock sight's or are there any other sight's that could be used to correct the problem ?

Just low or low and to the right or left? If to the left you are right handed and reacting to the pistol before actually firing!

If the gun shoots left or right, adjust the rear sight left or right to align the target. If the gun shoots high or low, you may have to change the rear sight to a higher or lower sight to get on target.

The above scenarios are unlikely - most problems are with the shooter or the ammo. If there is no pattern to the shots - it may be the ammo you are shooting.

If there is a fairly consistent pattern (like down and left) it is probably a matter of trigger control - anticipation - dry firing practice can help alleviate this problem.

Yes I was starting to wonder that myself, I figured I might be the problem but she or I only shoot low not left or right, I think the next time I'm out to the range I'll try it on a rest and see if there is a difference.
Thank's for the replies

It may be trigger control but Glock used to offer different heights of rear sights to account for moving the point of impact up or down.

In my copy of of the Glock Armorers Manual, it says that there is a marking on the side of the rear sight which indicates which height it is. The sight heights range from 6.1 mm to 7.3 mm and 6.5 mm is standard factory issue. I assume you still have the stock factory sights?

Since everyone's eyes are different, it will take a little trial and error to figure out which load you shoot and if the sight actually needs to be changed. A Glock armorer should have different heights to change out, or you might try aftermarket sights which will change things yet again.

Calagry Police Service has Glock armorers for sure and maybe The Shooting Edge also.
